The Shine Bright Teacher Award is an opportunity for students to recognize a teacher that has recently Shined Bright in their life! Danbury is blessed with many great teachers! The Danbury Education Foundation is shining a light on the importance of teaching, leading and guiding our students. ​4 times a year we are asking students + parents to submit nominations for a teacher that has gone above and beyond to make a difference in a students life.

The Shine Bright Award is in memory of a lifelong educator and Danbury Panther fan, Pamela Kay Reed.
